GWOT PA Memorial
The Global War on Terrorism is one that shows no signs of slowing down and one that many have lost their lives to. This design was created to not only to show respect to those that have lost their lives but to build a memorial in Philadelphia that will last forever. Art History 101‘s long time friend Tim Wynn is an Iraq war veteran who has been working nonstop with law markets and politicians into creating a better life for our vets when they come home. In addition to being a mentor coordinator at the Philadelphia Veterans Court, Tim knows firsthand of the complications and struggles both soldiers and family members have with this war on terrorism.
Tim is working alongside with members of the board of directors for the Global War on Terrorism Memorial to bring this memorial to life. The memorial much like ones that currently reside in our city honoring those that lost their lives to the Korean War and Vietnam War this memorial will feature the names of all 288 service members from Pennsylvania who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan since September 11, 2001. Which is up to us to create and help fund in every way we can. Which is how this t-shirt came together through the minds of Timmy Wynn, Art History 101 founder Jay P and designer and tattoo artist Adam Elliot from Passion and Pride Tattoo Shop. $10 for every t-shirt sold is going directly to the memorial fund which you can also make paypal donations to directly in addition to purchasing the t-shirt either here or at our location on 7045 Frankford Ave. We thank you in advance for purchasing this product, making a donation, sharing it on social media or even just taking the time to read this. These are names that need to be remembered forever and we are honored to help be a part of that.
